They say I don't know what love is,
this time I may have to agree.
I say I love you,
but I don't really know what I mean.
Do I really love you,
or is it just another thought in my head.
The only thing I know about love
is from what I've read.
I've read that true love
is when two hearts combine into one.
When you know the other
is the only one.
Some say their love
is their soulmate.
Forever and a day,
for them they will wait.
But what is a soulmate?
Is it someone you connect to,
in each and every way?
Or is it someone you love with all your heart,
for them these feelings will always stay?
If what I've read is true,
then you're the one for me.
In my heart you're my soulmate,
atleast that's what I believe.
